On State Highway 1, between Ohau and Levin you will find the Quarter Acre Cafe. We offer a real, honest cafe experience. Our yummy food is prepared to the highest standards, with all cabinet items baked onsite – from our 3 layer Chocolate-Chocolate-Chocolate Cake to our signature Pork Belly Pies. Our blackboard menu offers a delicious range of dishes, with all-day breakfasts – including ‘Eggs Bene Our Way’ and ‘The Farmer’s Daughter’s Omelette’. We use free range eggs and seasonal produce, capitalising on our location in Horowhenua, New Zealand’s ’food basket’. We also use Artisan breads made on the Kapiti Coast.

Sustainability and looking after our environment is a key part of our philosophy, in addition to free range eggs we use organic fair trade coffee; we recycle and compost our waste. We also have a BYO takeaway coffee cup policy. We believe in being thoughtful consumers.

Along with great food and service and being environmentally concious we love to have FUN! The Quarter Acre Cafe is licensed, open for all-day breakfast and lunch, 7 days a week from 8.30am til 4.30pm. We are available for functions. We offer free wireless internet to our customers and have easy access from State highway 1, with a big roomy car park. We look forward to seeing you soon!
